This paper shows the possibilities of reducing the use of animals in education training programmes in experimental as well as in clinical microsurgery. This can easily be achieved by using an artificial device. Artificial methods are developed to add to a certain technical skill in vitro to overcome the initial difficulties in vivo in an easier manner. Therefore, we developed training devices, and alternative suture techniques for anastomosis to fulfil some of our objectives.
